Black Friday Virgin!

So this black Friday I decided to venture out on black Friday and get the full experience since till now i really have been a black Friday virgin. I would have to say that I got to be one of those crazy ladies standing outside/ in line for hours to get the great holiday deals. My friend and I started out by leaving the house at10:30 pm on Thursday night and started our journey at Toys R Us. We got there about eleven and waited outside in the freezing cold( well not freezing but I'm a baby when it comes to the weather) till midnight when the black Friday madness began. When the clock struck midnight the chaos began. People were running for the door and skipping line and the women who had been waiting in line were furious. Ladies were yelling and cussing out other ladies for cutting lines and all I could think was " I'm at Toys R Us and I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it home alive!" It was nutz but as you see I'm still alive. We continued by stopping at the Oshkosh Outlet Mall, Kohl's and finally Walmart. Here we sat in line from 2am to 5:30 am to get my daughter a Barbie Power Wheels Jeep and after all the madness I was able to hold strong and pull through for my daughter. Around 7:30 am with my eyes blood shot and ready to collapse I walked into my house with a Barbie Jeep in hand and thought " I hope this was worth it!." So to all those Black Friday Virgins you have to give it a try just once, it's quite the experience.

Bieber Bash!!

Thanks to everyone that came out to our Bieber Bash this last weekend it was a blast! Even though it was quite chilly we still had a great time giving away prizes and smashing open pumpkins. Congrats to the winners of the Bieber concert tickets, autographed guitar, ipod nano's and all the other cool prizes we had. New Craze @ Weddings?

So I went to a wedding this past weekend and had a blast but also learned some new traditions that I heard people are starting to do at weddings I guess for the younger couples the most. Has any heard the new thing to do during the chicken dance is to bring out a live chicken? It was pretty crazy but fun when it got thrown towards a bunch of girls and they started screaming! What about BEER SLIDE? This was a new one for me. I guess once everyone is I guess the word would be intoxicated people turn the dance for into a beer slip in slide! Luckily the wedding I went to did not do this because it sounds quite dangerous considering the fact that I stepped on glass on the dance floor. But can you imagine people doing this I find it quite disturbing. Can you imagine a bride sliding across the floor in her thousand dollar dress in beer? CRAZY!

2nd Day

Well, I made it through the first day and it was lots of fun. I was able to attend the 959 KISS FM block party and had a blast. Not only was there lots to eat and plinko there was a huge semi which brought a enormous large screen TV to watch the Packer/Vikings game. Unfortunately the Pack lost but I still think it turned out to be a great party and everyone had fun. I look forward to more events in the near future! TTYL

Hello!!

Hi everyone, my name is Sara and I am the new intern at 959 KISS FM. I am very excited to get the chance to work here at 959 and get to know some of the talented people that work here. I have been an avid listener to 959 KISS FM since I was young and continue to listen to them on a daily basis! I am currently a Business Management student at Fox Valley Technical College and will graduate this coming December. I wanted to do my internship here because I would like to get into events and promotions once I graduate and I feel I will have a great opportunity to learn and come out with some great experiences here at 959 KISS FM. I am very excited to be here and look forward of what's to come!
